The second most lesbianic thing you can say after "Home Depot" is "Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2". Thank you so much for this! Every word was the blazing truth. Also, high five for autistic lesbians :D

Absolutely love this, great film and great write up, as always!

I had many feelings watching Terminator 2. I very much enjoyed Linda Hamilton's workout routine on the bars of her bed (if I remember correctly), and her boots, and her overall badassary. I also knew I had a crush on John Connor. I just googled pics of young John Connor and it now makes a lot more sense... he kind of looked a little baby dyke, with the hair and the motor bike ;)

You might want to check out Terminator: Dark Fate next! Yeah, there's like a bunch of Terminator movies between 2 and Dark Fate but they literally don't matter plot-wise, since Dark Fate was designed to follow up on 2, and it features copious amounts of Linda Hamilton being a badass 30 years later.

I loved reading this. It also made me think about my favorite entry in the Terminator universe which is The Sara Connor Chronicles -- in which she's still amazingly intense and hyper focused on special interests but played by Lena Heady with Summer Glau instead of Arnold as the focal terminator. I may try to figure out where/how I can rewatch it actually...

I remember seeing it the first time and if I hadn’t already been queer, I would have been after that.

we snuck into the theater after buying a ticket to another movie because we were too young to see T2. it was a big deal that Linda Hamilton got buff for this, and I was certainly looking 👀
