I also left a job that I had had forever last summer, and started my own consulting business. I didn't realize how much that job felt like a core piece of my identity, and it really was messing with my head. I've never been happier, and I'm so glad that it's worked out for you as well!
When I was diagnosed with long Covid last August I was saddened by the “new me” and floundering. Then I FOUND YOU! Helps so much to hear feelings from a queer perspective and my wife & I are now embracing all that we still CAN do rather than focusing on the losses. Can’t wait to read your book and continue to follow the daily you!
