Hi, friends!
I’m Heather Hogan. I was born and raised in rural Georgia, and now spend my days writing from my home in New York City, with my wife and our clowder of rescue cats. I’ve been writing professionally since 2008; you can find my work — oh, everywhere. My essay, “The Soft Butch That Couldn’t (Or: I Got COVID-19 and Never Got Better),” was selected for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's 2021 Best American Science and Nature Writing. I was also a contributor to The Long Covid Survival Guide and am a member of The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics.
I’m represented by Jessica Friedman at Sterling Lord Literistic.

P.S. Cattywampus is a Southern word that means askew, awry, kitty-corner. You know, not straight. :)
